But the cost is huge. Because it's hard to justify spending mid $30's to low $40's on a small car. But when you're talking about buying a small gasoline SUV for $25,000 or a small electric SUV for $28,000 -- it's a far more comparable price. When you're talking about $25,000 for $35,000 or $40,000, it just doesn't make sense.
And the range is identical. The 2023 Bolt EUV gets an EPA range of 247, the Kona is 258. The Niro is 238. And the Bolt EV, which is smaller, has a range of 259 -- better than ALL 3 and starts at about $8,000 less.
I'm not sure how much groceries you buy but unless you're doing a Costco run I think the bolt will be fine for us. There's plenty of trunk space for just groceries -- again, has about the exact amount of trunk space as the Chevy Trax we're replacing.
