Ok, fair. For the future kindly shut the fuck with this admonition. He’s not spoilering but has consistently been bringing insight from the book world to what we just saw, not what we are going to see.

This isn't really spoilery but if you start digging, it will be. For what its worth (not much really), House Velaryon is actually still around in the time period Game of Thrones starts, they just aren't talked about. Their stature has fallen greatly, but they still exist. If I remember correctly, they support Stannis. House Hightower is still around too.

oh I don't plan on digging

and thank you for the correcting. In my mind they go extinct since I don't remember them being much in the book series or GoT, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Guess I will wait and see.

and I have not been reading up on anything that hasn't been seen already in the shows.

To all you idiots talking about the servant girl asking about the whereabouts of Dyanna. That's freakin' Helaena.....you know, Visery's daughter & Aegon II's sister/wife. That's who Alicent hugged after slapping Aegon II.
 
Just pondering out loud, not really looking for a reply since it might spoil things for me. But I'm curious when the Greyjoys take over being the big sea power, if it happens in this upcoming war where the Valarians are wiped out of their navy strength and Greyjoys take on that title helping the hot brunettes queen.
