The 247 composite has him 3rd, I'm just saying ESPN's ranking have him at 9th yet the headline is "Top Ohio Recruit". It's just super clickbaity.

Maybe like a year ago but all the more credible chatter recently the past few months had been that he didn't want to go to Ohio State.

Ohio State has always had issues getting players out of Cincinnati. It's in Ohio but it's like another state when it comes to us recruiting there.
 
Marshall is a big loss for the Buckeyes. Harbs is out cruitin Day right now.

If we get James Peoples it will be ok.

He visiting this weekend



I wouldn't say "big" loss. If we strike out on other RBs, yes. But I don't lose much sleep on missing out on a RB, we seem to always find a guy. If it was a top OL or something of sort i'd be concerned. It is a nice get for Michigan though. I'll give them that.

The kid that left ND was also offered and went to MI. Both were good prospects and Day could not seal the deal. As of right now the bad guys are winning.
