GAME 2023 NFL Draft Thread

It looks exhausting and boring. Too much extra stuff going on to enjoy. It’s in Detroit next year. If we can get a work suite like we’re doing for Taylor, I’ll go. Otherwise I’ll chill at home in the cave.

I definitely wouldn’t have hated drafting JSN even if it meant trading back. London seems fine the rest of the receivers are pretty meh.

Allgier probably isn’t happy. Patterson probably isn’t either since he’s probably gonna have to move back to WR

I risked 550 to win 100 on JSN being the first receiver drafted. It wound up being a sweat
I was baffled he didn't go higher but holy hell, that Seattle offense is going to be outstanding. I loved their draft, both were perfect fits.

Apparently GA coaches threw Carter under the bus.

Members of the Georgia coaching staff are not Jalen Carter fans, and they weren’t bashful about saying so.

Florio is such a fucking loser bitch.
College coaches who are asked about their former players often face a dilemma. Say nice things about the player who gave multiple years of unpaid service to the program, but who was may not have been an ideal soldier? Or tell the truth?

Some nice prospects at 32 as well as a nice trade down opportunity.

Thanks again, Bears!

Porter Jr.?

I’m pumped about having 34 plus 2 more tonight.

Don't think they'll be able to help themselves with Porter, feels like they're gonna trade back a few spots if they think they can still get him.

you mean he might be an asshole?
...Fat, lazy asshole who fights his own teammates, takes cheapshots at opponents, gets into off-field legal troubles and his coaches don't like him; but shows enough talent on the field to get a next big payday that winds up being one of the worst contracts in history?

you are basing that on what?

Future Lion? I could see them going Levis or Hooker at 34.

Given the choice of the two, Hooker is better. He’s not Peyton Manning accurate, but at least showed he could hit an open receiver unlike Levis(and Richardson, who somehow managed to be the worst pick in the first round despite a RB drafted at 8 by team that had a rookie RB go for over 1000 and 5 ypc last season)
