Dude I don't know why this pisses you off so much, it doesn't change anything. No, it would not mean the two investigations are connected. If they were connected, that would mean the NCAA and FBI are jointly working together. They're not. If the FBI found something, turned it over to a legal group to handle it with the NCAA, it would still very much mean the FBI's investigation is not connected in any way to the NCAA's investigation.If they had found evidence in one investigation, which led to the start of another investigation -- that would be called A CONNECTION. It'd be two completely separate investigations, but the connection would be the evidence found in one case being used in a separate case.
