My question is - how do we know that they're not still cheating? Stalions is "suspended with pay" but it's not like he has an ankle monitor.

Sounds like CMU did something illegal, not Michigan.
This is the best case scenario if the assertions are true, that this guy was a lone wolf looney toon. Fire him and be on our way.
Stalions like many Michigan fans still think what he did or is still doing is okay. So yes, guiltless cheating is probably still happening because if this staff is going down they’re going down big. OR….Every football coach at Michigan will rat out the leaders because all their names are mud in the football coaching ranks now. They’re going to try and scrape up any dignity and self worth they have left or respect they feel they can get from coming clean. My question is - how do we know that they're not still cheating? Greatest mid-season scandal/controversy of all time. Definitely the funniest, most entertaining one in recent memory.
Seriously, when it comes to off-field entertainment, no one comes to the B1G. Y’all mfers wildin’.
Please continue.![]()
CMU issues sideline passes and the initial suggestion (which this came out last night) was that he was helping CMU steal signs. But, again, this all started because there's some guy at the game who merely resembles him....LOL
Why? It was an active CMU game vs MSU. As we all know it's legal to steal signals from the sidelines during an active game.
Sparty was NOT a future opponent of theirs.
Just more mental gymnastics and deflection from you.
Not to defend UM, but when you say "SI" that may not mean much. SI could be their national writers, or their local writers. Their local writers are typically journalism students trying to make beer money. They know less than most posters here.Idk if it's already been posted, but there are allegations that Michigan also used ball boys to steal plays as well

Michigan Sign-Stealing Scandal Takes Another Turn After Big Ten Program Floats New Accusations
The football team at the University of Michigan is currently embroiled in a sign-stealing scandal that seems poised to bring the program to its kneesbrobible.com
"According to Sports Illustrated, that may not have been the only way Michigan tried to improperly gain an edge, as the outlet says an unnamed Big Ten program was told to keep an eye out for ball boys relaying plays to the home team’s sideline:
A coach at a different school called them before playing Michigan to warn them about Wolverines ball boys on their sideline listening to play calls and communicating information to the Michigan sideline—holding the football up in one hand to indicate an expected pass, and in the other hand to indicate a run.
It’s obviously worth noting the team admitted it didn’t end up noticing any patterns that raised red flags when it played in Ann Arbor.
Based on an article ESPN published earlier this year, the Wolverines are also far from the first program to arouse suspicion thanks to the behavior of their ball boys, and while that’s essentially child’s play compared to the allegations surrounding Stalions, it’s certainly not helping Michigan’s case."

They couldn't tell it was him, he's got sunglasses on!

See above comment. If Stallions was on the sideline using stolen information to feed CMU coaches during a game they issued him sideline passes for....fill in the rest. You still don't get it knucklehead.
Your statement was "Sounds like CMU did something illegal"
Since it was during an active game and there doesn't appear to be electronic communication , CMU did nothing illegal.
That Stalions (a Michigan employee) was seemingly there ('in-person') to scout Sparty (a future opponent) is what's illegal.
This would make CMU guilty as well.
So it's then legal to have someone from outside the program, who scouted teams in person, offer that information to you during a game?LOL
No it wouldn't, dumbass.

He may have been there to scout for UM - all signs point to them cheating that way - but the story that is out there is that he was providing intel to CMU. Maybe he needed beer money.Likely false. He was there to scout Michigan St. since they were a future opponent of Michigan, you idiot.

You mean, a guy who kinda looks like him was there...He was at that CMU/Michigan St game to scout Michigan St for their future match-up, dumbass.
CMU got played.
You mean, a guy who very much looks like him was there...
