He made a point to mention any "mistakes he made in prior positions" when he was doing his introductory press conference. I'm guessing that mistake rhymes with Bimbo Wisher, and hopefully he learned his lesson.

Maybe he’s got Day on a one year prove it deal. I’m not sure what the contract situation is there.

They seriously can't see the difference between giving a couple of proven transfers some nice NIL money to come play for you and giving out blank checks to entire HS recruiting classes. Most Retarded Fan Base In America.

The "those transfers have no heart! because they took NIL money" argument is stupid too.

They wouldn't be saying that about Downs if he ended up at UGA I bet (who was also offering a big NIL deal)

Maybe a nut flys off an earth tree and burns out the sun, then what will it matter?

Come on Rob, like him or not, he was the hottest HC on the NFL Market. There's not going to be any one year prove it deals.

13 million is a lot of money. Why would they have to pay so much to keep players already “committed” to them?

Most of that 13 million went to guys already on the roster who maybe coulda went pro to comeback for 1 more year.

You aren't coming back another year just to milk it, if you are not in it and play like shit your NFL stock plummets.

Harbaugh is close to a deal with the Chargers.

They are discussing who will be on his staff and who likes to the be new GM.

Wonder if those rumors about Day shopping himself to NFL teams was true.

Prob wanted the Raiders job so he was no longer the guy with the weirdest grooming habits in town.

So the 25 million offer to Maserati Marv was true?

You have to play the NIL game and I think Ohio State is going the right way about it.

We aren't giving HS recruits whatever bag they want (Like A&M and Miami) once guys get on campus and start proving themselves then they can get more. This is where A&M and Miami run into problems, when you hand a fresh recruit whatever he wants to go somewhere he might not had preferred but only went there because of the money that's gonna cause issues.

As for the "big money transfers" Downs we finished 2nd for in his recruitment and Sayin was recruited a lot by BoB, these guys have ties so it's not like they went to Ohio State out of nowhere just for the money.

Resources are going more toward keeping fringe draft goers for another year and bringing in a few proven transfers to shore up certain positions.

If you don't play it at all you are gonna get left in the dust.

You might be trolling by MnB is serious. He's gone full retard.

CFB is the wild, Wild West right now and prob partially the reason Harbs finally decided to jump. Definitely why Saban quit and why guys like Dabo are frustrated. NIL really takes the spirit out the game, but it’s also definitely time players started getting paid. So it is what it is.

I can see why the coaches hate it though.

Dabo is a full of shit religious huckster and I think the Saban retirement was coming in the next year or two if it wasn't this year. Guys 72 years old and I think you can tell starting to wear. I don't think NIL is why he retired.

Honestly this has been the GOAT year for MI sports. Nobody is hurting.
Yeah -- his post really made me laugh. It is surreal right now in Michigan. We are experiencing success we have never seen from our football teams. The Lions just sold out Ford Field not to watch the game on the field, but to watch the game on the TV there.:pound:

The Ohio A&M shit is completely retarded. Anyone who's not on the spectrum can see that what Ohio State is doing is absolutely nothing like what Texas A&M has been doing. They really are a cult like mentality up there. They just keep repeating bullshit expecting that people will eventually just start parroting the bullshit as truth with them.
OAM is hilarious, because it is true. At least you aren't paying a guy $76 million to not coach though, so you have that going for you.

And did you really comment about parroting BS? That is EXACTLY what OAM fans have done for months.
