The opening came up after BOB was hired. It's not like he was looking for another job.

BOB is from the Boston area.

His wife and now-adult son with a severe brain condition live in Boston to be near the doctors that have been treating him for years. That condition causes him to have a seizure every morning upon awakening, sometimes requiring hospitalization.

This is a small set-back for Ohio State, but BOB is taking care of his family. Anyone who thinks that this isn't the right move is a grade-A hole.

Depending on who you talk to, he's either out the door or he's already told OSU he's not planning on leaving. Either way, just hope he's able to have the time he needs for his family. I'd honestly rather he just take a step back for the time being, his family deserves that.
