Too little too late. Talking about a passive club. Werder should have done this long ago. Sirius says they will have to sell assets and referenced Sargent but recommended he stay at Werder and play a season 2nd division. Does this sound like Bobby Wood repeat?

Just ordered my Muller Germany Euro 2021 road jersey. Got the black road jersey. Already got a Kroos home earlier. Kroos has COVID. Picked a good time to get it...well before the tournament. I will be shocked if this team is set in stone with COVID running loose in Europe still. Who else already had COVID on the team? Muller, Sule, Gnabry, Goretza, Kroos, Gundogan had it already.

Forgot Wood was on Hamburg. Had to look up where he as now; in the MLS.

Yeah I never believed he never wanted another club. He has another business in Germany he runs too before he joined Bayern. The National Team gives him more free time. Next season we will see him in the stands at Bayern games like Low this season. Tottenham also tried a late run for him.

Looking at halftime scores. Cologne Schalke 0-0 and Werder losing. A Cologne tie not enough or they are relegated.
 
Imagine what this match would look like if Caliguri nailed that PK and they didn't have the OG earlier.
 
I'm really going to miss Jerome Boateng, of all the departing players.

Unreal how the ball bouces in sports. Sane shoots, ball gets away from goalie, and Lewey right there to tap it in. You never know.

Werder Bremen. Utter garbage of a team!!!! Pathetic way to end the season. They join a group a large clubs in relegation:

Hamburger SV
Nurmburg
Kaiserslauten
Schalke

and now:

Werder Bremen.

Those 5 a complete joke. Let's celebrate Bielefeld, Union Berlin, and Augsburg. Small clubs who will be in Top Flight next year.
 
Another lesson learned this season. Don't leave your club too early and join someone else: Frankfurt, Gladbach, Leipzig all tanked after coaches quit to go somewhere else.
