He’s looking at the ground. Like on all form tackles. You can’t just lie in the face of photo evidence. LmaoThey're trying to take the helmet out of the game as a tool/weapon. It's dangerous for both the tackler and the tacklee.
One should not be leading with the crown of the helmet. It was called 'spearing' when I was a kid.
As the example shows he's hitting the QB with his left shoulder pad. His facemask is up. THAT is a 'form tackle'.

If the QB moves to his left, let’s say to evade or whatever, then the helmet DOES HIT , and we’ve seen ppl get ejected for that. DO YOU NOW FUCKING UNDERSTAND THAT TAHT IS STUPID AS FUCK? Penalizing the defender for doing the ***exact same motion*** you are lauding here? They're trying to take the helmet out of the game as a tool/weapon. Head down. Eyes down. Head leads. Why not targeting? Oh because the QB didn’t just happen to crouch at the moment of impact.
“keep head up. It’s dangerous!!” Y’all are laughable. Keep arguing your NON-POINT.
THIS RULE IS DUMBFUCKERY.

Ppl get ejected on that head position all the time. One got ejected last night almost standing straight up with his eyebrow area hitting the other guy, and all the commentators and idiots on here were parroting “you can’t lower your head.”. Now you’re just straight lying. If his head were 'down' you wouldn't be able to see his facemask like you can in that photo. The angle is even from 'above' which proves even more that his head is up.
His head is to the side and contact is made with the players left shoulder pad.
A true 'form tackle' as kids should be taught. We were taught that way in the 70's.

@Red_Alert Yiu really can’t be this dumb right?“Keep head up, wrap up”
Your words.
violent helmet to helmet clash. Precisely the thing you want to avoid.
lemme guess? It’s another one of my fails, right?

I know. You like nodding at your boyfriends to get approval. Like most.Die on your hill.
Not one person has supported your 'Lead with your head and eyes down' insanity.
Btw. Louisville just went for a low tackle on the running QB. The QB decided to slide just at that moment. They collided… but their helmets just didn’t happen to hit.Die on your hill.

It’s going to happen on every targeting play forever until the world ends or @ELTEXAN dies. Then again we may have the misfortune that he drilled this garbage into his kids and one of them will join this site and pick up the mantle, so until the end of time it is.Is this dipshit still going on about “all tackles lead with the head” although he acknowledged the existence of arm tackles in another thread?
No. If a player spears another player already on the ground OR COMES IN HIGH WITH HIS HEAD UP (LIKE YOU AND THE COMMENTATORS WANT HIM TO DO), then maybe that player should get penalized. It’s going to happen on every targeting play forever until the world ends or @ELTEXAN dies. What's the title of this thread? No. If a player spears another player already on the ground OR COMES IN HIGH WITH HIS HEAD UP (LIKE YOU AND THE COMMENTATORS WANT HIM TO DO), then maybe that player should get penalized.
Ironically, players going for form tackles are getting ejected for doing the right thing … all because the offensive player ducks or jukes or crouches or slides at the same time.
Get it yet? Or do you need the exact same thing written for you for another seven pages alongside video and photo evidence?
below: “head up. Eyes up. Wrapping up”. VIOLENT helmet to helmet collision, the exact thing you don’t want to happen, yet thus rule, the commentators, and you keep repeating “head up, eyes up.”
