Nebraska Cornhuskers 2021-22 Nebrasketball

Torturing myself with some Nebrasketball tonight. Looking decent early. 3/6 from 3 helps. No Verge, coaches decision, so not sure what's up there.

Lol. We blow another one...

:trash:

After I compliment on their shooting in the last game, they decided to take the dive to 29%. Wtf? Webster, 0-10, seriously? Can tie game at end but misses the first of 3 free throws. Didn't even score a basket in the last two minutes. It's like all semblance of how to play offense disappears at the end of close games.

Torturing myself again tonight. Watching Huskers play a good first half, up 7. Going to see the interesting way they lose this.

Going into half, announcer said Mich hasn't won a game this year when trailing at half, so you know that streak is turning around tonight.

I haven’t been watching but saw up at half but like you I assume we will blow it.

Lol. Only took under 2 1/2 minutes to blow out 7 point halftime lead.....

Refs: Huskers are winning, we better call them for more fouls. 4 quick fouls on Huskers and now down 3 in first 3 minutes of 2nd half.

Ugh. Offense goes in the toilet here in the final 4 minutes. Just stupid shots and guys trying to hard. Same old issues.

Too many offensive rebounds for Mich in 2nd half. We got a miss with 20 seconds but give up another offensive rebound. Just can't find offense at end of games the way a good team can.

Another day another blown game by Hoiberg's crew... Gonna have to suffer through another year of this too because 18.5 mil is too steep a price to pay. Bryce and Trey are gone after this year, Walker is likely gone as well. And Verge. Another reworked roster coming up and we're supposed to believe that THIS time it will be different. Ugh... Nebraska basketball is just awful all the freaking time. I miss Tim Miles.

As soon as the Huskers had a lead late in the game I knew we were fucked.

I'm done.

also seems like we have an issue with fouling. the other teams always seems to double our FTA

Next time someone asks if you want a hurts doughnut you can say sure as hell does!

Fouls themselves are relatively even, but certainly seems like the refs are less quick on blowing the whistles on Nebraska drives then they are on our opponents drives. but some of it also stems from our defense being lazy, which also results in more fouls on shots.

I don't care the buyout, you can't lose at home by 24 to a .500 Northwestern team.

Better open up that checkbook to help on that buyout

How many millions has NU blown on buyouts in past 7-10 years?

Same.
There has to be some kind of legalese that the university can fall back on. Something like "failure to field a competitive team" or "failure to keep from embarrassing the university."
Something!
Anything!
