It worked out for Harvick in 2014. This year, not so much.

2014 is a Jeff Gordon championship year in my book.

2010l, 2015, 2016 and 2020 are Harvick championship years.

And you know how much I hate Jeff Gordon and how hard it is for me to call him a 7 time champion.

Ryan Preece, who has started all 35 races being behind Ryan Newman is pretty embarrassing. The 37 is no worse of a ride than the 43 or 34

Pitting would have made no difference. Both drivers would have passed the pitting car so the points would have netted zero for Harvick.
the 2 team finished 4th ahead of all the SHR team. it would have definitely put Harvick in the Championship with the tiebreakers. Dont know who would have won between the 2 & the 11 team, but wouldnt matter to SHR.
Harvick has to be a favorite for Phoenix. Pitting for any reason cant prove malice.
Saying your arm itches so spin out can. (on the radio)
SHR isnt as tight as it was back in the day. Simple as that.

or the roush cars for that matter.
None of them have speed. period end of sentence. Ryan missing 3 races on such a poor team kinda puts the staple into your statement.
Actually though.
the 43 has shown speed at times throughout the year. (to be fair)

My bookie switched websites and no longer carries the Truck Series, which is a shame, because I really cleaned up in the Truck Series this year, and would have cleaned even more if Johnny Sauter didn't get taken out last week. Would have bet on Moffitt, and probably put a little of Sheldon Creed as a backup

Smith leads after 1 stage with the other 3 Truck title contenders right behind. It's dark and clear at Phoenix so we should go rain free tonight.

Moffitt leads after 2 stages. The 3rd and final stage is next and the racing should start to get a bit more aggressive.

Sheldon Creed wins at Phoenix and is your Truck Champion.

Poor Brett Moffitt. That last caution screwed him and then Ben Rhodes blocked him on the restart.

Feel bad for Moffitt. It's of those damned if you do, damned if you don't spots. If he pits, everyone stays out, he stayed out and everyone pitted. Hopefully he lands a ride in the Busch Series next year.

I don't think he's a fan of that Cram fella for ruining his moment.

do you know if he was already leaving his team?
because he was kinda a douchebag to his team in the end.
I get being upset, losing the championship to a late yellow, but to continuously talk trash to your team who almost got you the Championship, might show his maturity level. if the yellow doesn't come out & he wins I am sure it would be all about how good everyone is.

He has no ride for next season yet. He's in his late 20's, so a little too old to use age as an excuse for an outburst like that.

was gonna ask. (dont follow the truck series much anymore)
is the 41 affiliated with any of the contenders?
It was a pretty bonehead move that wrecked himself.

well atleast if we know if that was his last run for that team, where that was coming from. because if he was coming back the next season. That would be an awkward offseason LOL. Although that perception isnt gonna make it easier to land a quality ride. I am sure he will find one. Talent is there, but wont make it easier.

Nah, the final 4 was all GMS and Thorsport. GMS has like 12 trucks in the field, and that wasn't one of them(Moffitt and Creed both GMS trucks) and Thorsport has been in the truck series since the 90's

On the flip side, I did like the fact Enfinger took the blame for his team.
He mentioned his CC wanted to come for tires & he talked them out of it.

A caution that late throws a big wrench in the plans for anyone. Enfinger had the freshest tires before that last caution and moved up to second and was gaining on Moffitt(though he didn't have enough time to catch him), so I can see staying out. But Moffitt was screwed either way.

Chase Briscoe leads after 1 stage of action at Phoenix.
