2022 Recruiting Thread

A lot of buzz coming from Tallahassee right now. We'll see what it turns into

Saw that Bama got a 4 star RB today from Baton Rouge.. Guess that means LSU will now prioritize Citizen

Also.. hearing the fighting @fordman84 is on the verge of flipping Bear Alexander, who's currently committed to GA

Tough weekend for ou..two players arrested (one being bailed out bY Lincoln himself).. And Jordan Hudson getting ready to decommit.. Good luck trying to get Stewart

Five-star defensive lineman Omari Abor sets OU visit

Soon, the world of recruiting will see several restrictions lifted. This will allow, among other things, prospects to begin taking their in-person official visits. One recruit who has finalized, set and announced his trip-date to Norman is elite defensive lineman Omari Abor. It was announced on social media that the Duncanville, Texas product will check out Oklahoma the weekend of June 19. Abor has since confirmed to 247Sports that the visit will be in an 'unofficial' capacity.

According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Player Rankings, the world of recruiting sees Abor as the No. 21 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting class. However, the 247Sports Network is even more impressed with his abilities. Our panel of national experts have Abor as the No. 11 overall prospect in the cycle. The consensus five-star also rates as a top-five defensive lineman in the nation and a top-five player in the state of Texas.

it's possible, about 1-2 kids commit and decommit from MN once a year, all programs do, so not sure what "used to it" means.

y'all had a player from Texas last cycle who decommitted and stayed home..

Doesn't surprise me - the stable is loaded, and getting more crowded with the rest of the studs in 2022 class coming in. This guy is only a 4 star.
ahh so once Burden leaves too, it's because it's a stacked room? Hudson is a stud.. He and Stewart are clearly the best WRs from the state. The next tier would be players like Marshall, Burton, Thompson, Winfield. There's still time to work back in those recruitments

yeah and? We had one from texas last cycle that committed and stayed committed,

Every school gets kids that commit and decommit, just because one kid from texas did last year doesn't mean all well.

we have a handful of kids from Texas
