2022 Season Thread

I’m in a 45 person NASCAR pool that’s pretty much a season long points system. Winner gets 500 bucks and top 10 spots get money. Can only pick a driver twice all season. I took Stenhouse today because I’ll have to pick him eventually, might as well do it on the plate tracks. Denny Hamlin was BY FAR the most popular pick. I’m off to a good start regardless of what happens the rest of the race

I’ve never seen a car move like Hamlin’s did after the wreck. Stepped out that far.

I'm really looking forward to the next couple races. Will finally get to see how the new cars perform in a real race, not a quarter mile flat track in LA or the gimmick that Daytona and Talladega have became.

As much as I don't like Denny, this being the first time he's DNF'd in the 500 is impressive(and incredibly lucky).

When did they go to single lugs?

That's gay as fuck

And those running in the back take out more front runners.

Fox has really shit the bed today.

These thinner tires blow way too easily and the cars can't make it back to the pits with a flat tire.

Something broke on Reddick's car. I do like it that all 4 Gibbs cars have damage now though.

Can't wait to see Busch ditch Bubba and he drops to the back.

These new cars just fall apart

Damn it. We'll see at least 2 more cautious now.

Hate to see the 62 get torn up. They've got until Talladega to get that car fixed though.

Can't really blame that on anyone. 17 lost momentum, 4 and 5 had runs, they met.

Great job, horse face
