The only thing left to do is check to make sure they used the correct bracing for the fan.
Don't assume they did the right thing.
I think if they run 2 switches, it's required to be a fan box... either braced between or directly on a stud.

That might be an issue. 12' ceiling and the bed is under the fan. I might be able to set the ladder right at the foot of the bed and be able to reach.
Gonna be exciting.
I have a big ladder that would get me high enough, but I'd rather not move the bed if I don't have to.My ceiling is 15' so I needed scaffolding.
I was covering the popcorn ceiling anyway, so already had the scaffolding on hand.
A tall step ladder should work for you if you can borrow one from a friend.
I can reach the bulbs/blades on this fan with a step ladder, but not where it's mounted to the ceiling.View attachment 74141

Don't lean off any ladder, especially one that tall.I have a big ladder that would get me high enough, but I'd rather not move the bed if I don't have to.
Sweet. I saw a bunch of Hunter brand fans that looked nice.
Word. I was hanging party lights on my pergola by the pool and the ladder slipped out from under me on uneven ground. Fortunately, I was able to hang off the support beam of the pergola and drop down to the hearth of the fireplace. It was a little sketchy, though.Don't lean off any ladder, especially one that tall.

You're not the boss of me.Don't lean off any ladder, especially one that tall.
Some people pay good money for that.So that it'd be true Slinky-style, I was thinking of just stuffing the wires one at a time really fast directly into my pee hole.
Ok, climb up there and jump off then. You're not the boss of me.
Thank you Captain Obvious.Don't lean off any ladder, especially one that tall.
