Jimbo getting ousted?

I tell ya one thing, whoever A&M’s next coach is, if he/she don’t sh_t can this nonsense day one:

DeBoer is one of the lowest paid HC's in the PAC 12. I know they were in talks about extending his contract but I wouldn't be surprised if Texas A&M made a call to his agent.

I understand why Texas A&M may want Lanning. He recruits the state of Texas well and he's one of the top young coaches in the country. But he recently signed an extension with Oregon making his buyout just short of 45M. Combine that with firing Jimbo, that's 120M in buyouts. And that's before having to pay Lanning 10M a year.

Mike Elko is an interesting name but I think his time under Jimbo may make it less likely that he gets the job. I know a lot of Texas people are high on the UTSA coach. I don't know much about him but he's obviously done a good job with that program.
