Michigan’s Sherone Moore to be named head coach

Is it really that hard to recognize that if McCord was really any good that bigger programs woulda been knocking on his door begging him to go play for them?

I guess it is for dUMb fans.
He chose Syracuse for this reason,

"McCord has deep ties to the Syracuse staff. He grew up in New Jersey and has known both Brown and quarterbacks coach Nunzio Campanile for a decade. He also has deep ties to Jeff Nixon, the expected hire at offensive coordinator who is finishing the season as the New York Giants' running backs coach"

I would bet he had other, bigger, offers.

Nebraska, Nebraska was the other team serious pursuing him. "Big"

Should we believe what we know? Or retarded speculation?

Ain’t nobody worried about Ohio State. Love you guys, but let’s get serious.

Not a real game ... bowl games outside the playoffs have become nothing more than exhibition games. We will see how Moore does as head coach. He will stand or fall based on his performance. I like the probable hire and I will not count the first season negatively toward him. Damn these ohio state fans whine a shit-ton!!!

We know only what he told us. That's where you seem confused here.

You really think if bigger programs were after him it wouldn't had been made known? You really are special.
I think he announced into the portal with a plan in place to go back home. I don't think he fielded many offers nationally because the decision was already made.

He had some solid plays against michigan, and his line would've looked much better if he wasn't hit on his last throw, but he was still levels below basically every QB we've had since before JT Barrett. And yeah, you guys made Penix look worse than most of the other teams he faced for sure.

There were some big plays by Michigan's D. That 2nd interception was partially a result of Harrell's pressure on McCord, and Quentin Johnson's hit on Egbuka to break up a huge play, and Barrett had a great PBU/near interception near the endzone on OSU's first FG drive. Sainristil's hit on Henderson

I highly recommend reading the whole thing, I think it does an awesome job illustrating Michigan's defensive playcalling versus Ohio State's playcalling and how they counter each other. Really cool seeing how Michigan mixes up their coverages, seeing how Day was able to reveal some of said coverages, and seeing how things change presnap. It was an awesome football game and I don't just say that because we won.

Man, losing Minter is gonna suck.

Michigan's coverages were crazy but it really didn't take much to confuse McCord. There was a lot more wtf with him than excellent plays throughout the whole season. He missed SO MANY throws that shoulda been made easily.

You can look at the stats all you want, but actually watch every damn game and you'll see a QB who's just not up to speed mentally.

There's plenty of college QBs who coulda put up his stats if they were in his place at Ohio State with the riches of skill position talent around them.

I don't disagree with you whatsoever. Even though OSU lost it was an incredibly entertaining and well-fought game, and the better team won.

I agree about Minter though, he's doing to be really difficult to replace. Is the thought it will be an internal promotion or are there some external options?

I love it because of how much people hate it. @fordman84 is just jealous that his coaches don’t give a damn. Our coach is a proven winner. His coach is from Duke.
Your coach is a proven crybaby pussy. :pound:

A&M fans are just jealous because they can't buy a trophy. It requires culture and players/coaches who have a deep love for each other; one that makes them cry with joy when victorious over evil.

Not a real game ...

I know, but I watched that whole game and saw the sheer panic on Ryan Day’s face when he realized he was in trouble. I think he’s a bad HC. I think he’s a poor analyst in the eye of the storm. He doesn’t think fast on his feet and crumbles under pressure.

Ohio State fans will sit here and say they were in the MI game until the end but anyone who watched it knows they were never in it.

The guy just doesn’t scare me at all, regardless of how his roster looks. He’s not a winner.

At least A&Ms coach wasn't born on 3rd base like Michigan's
He was. You seem to be missing the second part of the quote "...and thinks he hit a triple". That is reserved exclusively for mr. hang a 100.

A&M really thought they could buy their way into the big boy table. They have no idea what it’s like to cheer for a real team.

Ohio State is trying to go the A&M route as well. I suspect it will be equally as successful. A bunch of selfish players on a roster who don't care about the team, university or coaches at all.

I think this year is going to be the best tell of if he can keep being the HC going forward.

He should be spending all his time on actually being a head coach instead of worrying about the offense so much, since Bill O'Brien should be completely handling all of that now.

Ohio State will have the most NIL transfers over the next few years. Book it.
