More Michigan Cheating

According to the Netflix series, the NCAA is seeking a 3 year show cause for Stallions. I'm going to bet he'll be working in college again in 3 years.

Michigan will get some sort of fine, maybe recruiting limitations (because of the other recruiting related violations), a bunch of former staff will get a show cause (mostly for non-compliance) and Moore might get a suspension for the deleted text message thing?

Meh.

Maybe so, if Michigan is planning on intercepting Helmet Communications as an encore. :dhd:

But being condescending and wrong at the same time is what he does best.
I think what I do best is remind Ohio Soft fans they haven't beaten THE National Champion Michigan Wolverines since 2019.

I've always said the best head coaches are nutjobs. And Stallions is a nutjob. He fits right in.

When people compare Ohio Soft to A&M -- it is about buying players, nothing to do with "portal classes". Why you do you think when ESPN and CBS is writing articles about Ohio Soft the last few days -- it starts with Ohio Soft's 20+ million dollar team?!?

The elite programs don't have to do that -- the top players just want to go there and know they will earn their NIL, while competing for championships. Schools like Miami, A&M, Tennessee -- programs who haven't won anything in a long time are the schools buying players.............and now Ohio Soft.
LOL you think dudes aren't making crazy NIL at schools like Bama and Georgia? Did you just wake up from a coma? Did you really think all the guys michigan had come back last year weren't rolling in NIL dough? Holy hell, kid.

I think it's not even questionably illegal to go scout teams that aren't on your schedule. The NCAA rule "prohibits off-campus, in-person scouting of future opponents during the same season"

I think the only thing that would be potentially an issue is if you were scouting teams you *might* play in a bowl game at some point. Not sure how the NCAA would handle that. They specifically call out "future opponents" and not "future and potential opponents" -- during the same season.

So as I read it, unless a team is confirmed on your schedule for that season, it's totally legal to scout them in person.
You're not wrong, I don't disagree. I'm simply saying knowing what they already know about him from the last 3 years, this just adds even more fuel to the fire, and you have to admit it reeks of LOIC. A guy as neurotically controlling as Harbaugh would never have had this happening on his staff without knowing about it, and I'm sure you know that.

You realize that's like really fucking dumb.

It lacks creativity and doesn't even read right.
He's like the guy that comes to the bar with your friends that nobody really likes and makes painfully cringe-worthy jokes that crack him up while nobody else laughs. He sorta gave up on OAM when I pointed out he himself wished for michigan to become A&M, so now this is his new pivot.

Stalions no longer has a purpose now that helmet communications is allowed.
His only job was to use illegal means to decode signals of future opponents.

Sure, you do that, but you also get easy facts about your own school wrong. So there's that as well.

I love how much it irks every fan on this site that Michigan won the National Championship last year -- so much so that a thread that should have died long ago is STILL going.

College football is starting and THE national champion Michigan Wolverines are still at the top of everyone's head. To the fans who are dragging this thread along -- don't sweat it -- someday you may win another national title too. Well, maybe not Nebraska, but Ohio Soft and Notre Dame have legit shots.

Good luck this year to all.

I mean, the NOA was literally just delivered to michigan a few days ago and it's been talked about at a national level because of the magnitude of a cheating scandal it is. Sort of relevant, no?

Well if the fans of the red balloon are telling me it lacks creativity -- I better change it up :pound:

He's still never acknowledged posting a picture of Jim Knowles on our sidelines at the Spring Game as a supposed "gotcha" about Ohio State.

This is where you're wrong. I don't really care that Michigan won the title. Even congratulated you all the night it happened. I do enjoy calling you a dumbass though. You just happened to be wrong about a basic facts, in this thread, and here we are.

It'll fade away again, then get new life next spring sometime.

I can see 500 pages and maze&blew still not getting it.

The NCAA has literally zero power to do anything anymore. Everyone hoping and thinking something big is coming out of this is laughable.

The President of the NCAA already came out and said they won the National Championship "fair and square". So what are they going to do that is worth talking about? You lose 3 scholarships, when they are talking about letting teams have 105 scholarships (I don't know the exact number -- just remember reading they are talking of doing away with walk-ons). Who cares? Suspending a coach for a game? Again. Who cares?

The Super Conferences run CFB now -- the NCAA is a sham. Nothing will happen but a slap on the wrist.

Without a doubt it irks you. That's why you are here posting. The only fans still talking about this are the fans who can't stand Michigan won the title.

Again, I am certain this is what you're hoping for.

Turns out when an underachieving fossil of a program cheats to finally become successful after so many years in a sport that is nationally beloved, people tend to notice.
