I really wanted to love both Oppenheimer and Dunkirk, but I didn't. Watching them ranked up there with painting my shed.Dunkirk would have worked better with a straightened timeline (IMO).
I thought it worked better in Oppenheimer, although the sheer number of characters might make it hard for someone unfamiliar with the project.
Hollywood seems to be void of great ideas. I find myself re-watching older films. I watched A Man Called Otto with Tom Hanks awhile ago, and while it was OK, it tried to be too much like Gran Torino and Tom Hanks is NO Clint Eastwood.
