Movies Made 2020 & After Are the Worst in At Least 40 Years. Prove Me Wrong.

Dunkirk would have worked better with a straightened timeline (IMO).

I thought it worked better in Oppenheimer, although the sheer number of characters might make it hard for someone unfamiliar with the project.
I really wanted to love both Oppenheimer and Dunkirk, but I didn't. Watching them ranked up there with painting my shed.

Hollywood seems to be void of great ideas. I find myself re-watching older films. I watched A Man Called Otto with Tom Hanks awhile ago, and while it was OK, it tried to be too much like Gran Torino and Tom Hanks is NO Clint Eastwood.

3 of my favorite movies since 2020 were

Enola Holmes
Enola Holmes 2
Where the Crawdads Sing

Netflix was on a roll.

Naw, because it was an original, intriguing concept, with a good cast and it was executed well. The sequels were rushed, ill-planned and a grotesque hatchet job, which coincided with what the directors were doing to their genitals.
This. 100%.

I was thinking how to put the originality got us. Then it became stale as every movie had to do matrix stuff so it wasn't as cool. Then M2 came out and it was just an action flick.
