I disagree with you on Ole Miss as I think a few more losses and it could go the wrong way in a hurry for them.Ole Miss isn't terrible. They are a couple spots away from that being a Q1 win for Tennessee. I did watch it, and Tennessee got off to a slow start, they were trailing 31-21 at one point and really shut them down in the 2nd half. Their defense is really good.
I think Auburn will be in a lot of low-scoring games. They play pretty good defense too. So the margin for error, while small, will most likely mean you'll be in every game even against the "elite" teams which Auburn, is probably a step down from that, but should still be a top 25 team all year, and can certainly make a run. They could also fall victim to a 4/13 or 5/12 upset in the tournament because of their style of play. Alot of variance with them this season.
Auburn needs a consistent shooting guard who is a legit scoring threat badly and the freshman Tre Donaldson is starting to show some promise but still seems hesitant to shoot. Turnovers and shooting percentage are the two metrics Auburn needs to win in order to be successful and both are spotty right now.
I will say this Bruce is playing a ton of players and actually has a rotation of about 11 that are getting significant playing time so there is a ton of depth and it will help keep players healthy so that is an advantage few teams have right now. Auburn has the talent to make a run the talent just isn't always showing up right now and that's disappointing and I suspect its a rhythm thing because the rotation is so large.
