Were you in the city last Sunday night?
I had been in the city on my way back from Europe, then drive up for 72 hrs at my in-laws place upstate. Start packing Sunday morning for the flight back home and can't find my passport anywhere. Called the hotel I stayed at and yes, they have my passport at the front desk. (HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU LEAVE ONE ITEM, YOUR PASSPORT, IN THE ROOM?) So, still jetlagged, we drive back to the city Sunday evening and had to drive through those rains that were the hardest I've ever seen. Literally impossible to drive in. Got my passport, drove all the way back up to Albany and got checked into a hotel and slept for 3/12 hrs. Got to the airport at 4:25 and TSA was 2 hrs backed up. Total mayhem. Missed the flight.

3/12 is the same as 1/4. I slept for 1/4 of 12 hrs, thus 3 hrs. It's another, easier way of just saying 3 hrs.

Dude, you would not believe how many fat people with little fat children came through that hotel in a week. This place had one of those nightly receptions with the free food and drinks.
