What are you reading?

Working on Death's End now.

The next fiction I read will be the fifth Stormlight book when it comes out later this year. I got my son into "Way of Kings" in July, and he's hooked now. He's almost done with "Rhythm of War" already.
OK, I lied...I picked up a copy of Harrison's "Make Room! Make Room!" on my last trip to the liberry. It's the book that became the movie Soylent Green, and I've always wanted to read it.

This book sucked. Don't even bother. It started out great but then fizzled out near the end. And there was no mention anywhere in the book about eating people.

I believe that Soylent Green is only loosely based upon the book and the addition of cannibalism was for shock factor on the big screen.

Those are written by Dennis Taylor. Not Til We Are Lost is the newest Bobiverse novel.
I started Heaven's River last night...I am excited to get back into the Bobiverse

Underland - Mick Farren

The exploits of Victor Renquist, nosferatu.

Recruited by the dirty tricks wing of the NSA for a journey to the centre of the Earth to attack the last bastion of Hitler’s Nazis.

Peter the Great by Robert K. Massie.

A tome. A tome about 17th century Russia. Truth back then was way stranger than fiction. This one is going to keep me busy for a while!

I forgot how fucking dense with science these books are. I am a quarter of the way through Heaven's River and my head is swimming. I needed to take a break and read something a little less science-y.

I have had Lost Gods by Brom on my to read list for a while and it seems like a good pick up for spooky season.

Reading Sinkable: Obsession, the Deep Sea, and the Shipwreck of the Titanic by Daniel Stone

Covers the Titanic's story post sinking of course, but also weaves in other stories of shipwrecks and the changes in the industry and some pretty comedic attempts to raise it.

Late to the party, but I finally started my Wheel of Time journey this year.

On book 13 now, so should finish up the series well ahead of the new year.

Maybe Stormlight Archive after?

That's a pretty good early one
