What are you reading?

Just scored O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln and Killing Kennedy, both new. Also, an used copy of Arthur M. Schlesinger's A Thousand Days: John F. Kennedy in the White House.

In case you thought I was handing down tablets, I wasn't. I was actually excited to have another Cornwell trilogy to read, then I found out I already read it.

Turns out the Arthur trilogy is no a TV series called The Winter King

I've read both of those and a few others from O'Reilly. If you like both of those, check out Killing Patton. I thought it was really good and learned a lot that I wasn't aware of.

Lars Kepler. Husband and wife Swedish author team. Great great series of books. Very uncomfortable reading. The hero is Joona Lina.
I recommend reading in sequence as they overlap. The first book is called the hypnotist.

Yep, I hung on every word of both series and can’t wait for the next Pillars.
The Armor of Light: A Novel (Kingsbridge Book 5) is released! When it is for sale at a fair price, I shall buy it but I can assure you it won't be through Amazon.

If I may, an author I would recommend is Thomas Kelly. His first was called Empire Rising. He hasn't put anything out in a long time but I enjoyed is work

I'm having a fuck of a time finding his work, unless I purchase new and even new is hard to find.

But I did find Payback. Union busting of the tunnel building sandhogs in NY city.

A very good read.

True but many offer free shipping. Being in Canada is an issue.

Some do, others the book price is 1/5th of the shipping.

And even with sellers north of the 49th.

Doing further research left me with the conclusion that you are screwed. Amazon.ca has a set shipping cost around $7CA for books.
