What If JFK Wasn’t a Conspiracy

Most timelines with this theory are 8-11 seconds, though sticking strictly to Zapruder it was much closer to the lower end of that.

that much time, for a marksman in the marine corps, with a weapon he’s very familiar with on a terrain he’s very familiar with is a very make-able shot even factoring in the pressure of who he was shooting at.

yes, that is very very true but you also have the witness testimony of the two guys directly below Oswald on the 5th floor of TSBD. They said they not only heard 3 the shots they also heard the 3 shell casings hit the floor above them.

Have you SEEN them talk about what they witnessed? I’ve posted their interviews a couple of times. I believe them. I don’t just read their WC testimony. I actually watched them recount what they saw. I saw how they spoke and i believed them. To me, they are simple unsophisticated guys. They don’t have an agenda. They are just typical hard working guys who basically stack books for a living. They aren’t the kind of guys you would recruit to help perpetuate a falsehood. They came out early with what they saw and heard.

I don’t think they are lying and I don’t think they are mistaken.
guys hearing shots above them != shots hitting/killing Kennedy

minus the shot he hit a tree...

is that a question? Yes, they describe hearing the shots.

have you watched the video?

Easy for a guy who scored rather high in the Marines a few times.

I didn’t say flawless. I didn’t say perfect. I said make-able. In other words, it’s not a remarkable or extraordinary shot. It’s make-able.

I'm saying that hearing shots doesn't mean those were the shots that hit Kennedy.

Bullseye from 2.5 football fields on shot #3 is pretty remarkable.

im saying these guys heard 3 shots. You previously suggested that the shell casings could have been planted. I agreed but if they were planted then how do you explain the witness testimony of hearing three shots being fired directly over their head AND hearing three shell casings hit the floor directly above them?

I’ll take this discussion a step further, if you believe these guys that three shots came from above AND you believe another shot came from the grassy knoll then you believe FOUR shots were fired. Never mind the lack of forensic evidence to support a 4 shot a viewing of the Zapruder film doesn’t support 4 shots being fired.

huh… what are you talking about 2.5 football fields? The shot was 81 meters. That’s about 265 FEET not yards. That’s much shorter than you are saying.

also, marines are rated for shots at 200, 300, and 500 feet. Oswald took those tests and was rated a marksman. This was not a remarkable shot for him especially when you factor in he knew the weapon and the terrain.

Let me give you a little more perspective. Here’s a video of a guy shooting a BOW and ARROW at a target of 100, 200 and 300 YARDS (not feet) in windy conditions.

Now, you wanna tell me again how a marine marksman using a high powered RIFLE (not a bow and arrow) hitting a target at about 88 yards is a “remarkable shot”?

Post 554

Which is it? He fired through trees or missed completely from 120 feet? Which one is worse?

Was the President's head on any of those hay bales?

im not sure what you’re asking me. I’m responding to the statement of 2.5 football fields. It wasn’t that long… not even close.

doh... was converting yards, not feet. I should work for NASA so I can crash land a probe on mars.

I was pointing out in post 554 I also say 265 feet. But then i'm asking you a question
