Germany can now lose today and get in based on goal differential being the first tie breaker. Even a tie would be fantastic. The ultimate would be a high scoring game and win or tie or lose a close one. Then the final match they get Costa Rica and hopefully win and Japan would need a close loss to Spain. Tables have turned a bit for Germany but it is back in their hands their destiny.

I am hoping they go all Bayern today up front. Go with familiarity. Except maybe Fullkrug starts a number 9. But other than that: Sane/Gnabry, Muller, Musiala, Goretza, Kimmich. That Spain defense is in the 30's and Busquets could be a guy they could exploit here. No Schlotterbeck and McBurgerKing Sule on defense. Ginter and Gunter today back there.

He was? I had read he would miss the first two games. I didn't watch the game, but if he was sub, then they should have subbed.

By the way, why is Roberto Martinez still there as coach?

This result puts Belgium in deep trouble. Germany has a better shot than Belgium now. Belgium needs a result against croatia and a morocco loss to canada. World #2 (lol) could be done. This is the group of death so far.
