GAME 2023 NFL Draft Thread

you are basing that on what?
oh, idunno...

Albert Haynseworth:
-paralyzing a guy from a car crash
-kicking Justin Hartwig (his own teammate) and the stomping incident against the Cowboys
-showing up to Redskins camp overweight
-getting publicly called out by Mike Shanahan for being lazy

Jalen Carter:
-being involved in a reckless fatal car crash
-getting into pregame fight against Mizzou
-showing up to his own pro day for scouts significantly overweight
-this report that his coaches didn't like him

seems like a big reach.

what was Haynesworth like coming into his rookie season?

Future Lion? I could see them going Levis or Hooker at 34.

...but...

you have struck out on all your predictions this draft.

for a draft nerd you really suck at this

I’m having a blast.

Lions crushing the draft.
Hell yeah -- Lions are playing chess, while everyone else is playing checkers. You know, just like when the rest of the league wouldn't waste a 1st round pick on a TE -- we drafted not one, not two, but three TE's with top 20 picks and two of them were 2 top 10 picks.

seems like a big reach.

A reach? I just detailed how eerily similar the two are to this point.

...Just be glad your Eagles are going to get some of "good Jalen" before he goes full "Redskins-Haynesworth".

15th overall pick coming out of the SEC.

You see where the GA coaches all told NFL teams that Carter is a POS?

Omar Khan fleecing incoming.

That’s a good sign, but allegedly not all of his coaches feel the same way. He obviously has red flags. He fell to Philly where he will be babysat by Dean and the other GA guys. If it all works out it’s a great pick. But it’s definitely a risk. I’m okay passing on him reading all of this. Philly has the best locker room for him to succeed.

like I said, the locker room he is going into is solid and he will get put on the right path with those guys.

the Eagles will fix it. That locker room is solid, he will get with it.

Definitely the best landing spot for him and better than it would have been w us.

Give me one second to reply, Flash.
