I'm pretty sure I saw that he already is, but he still has way too much to prove. They've faced two defenses that are top 50 in efficiency (ranked 43rd and 49th, so nobody impressive) and he was hardly outstanding against either of them. I also don't see how you can ding Penix's bad game vs ASU but ignore JJ tossing 3 INTs vs. a pathetic BGSU team.

His QBR against Minnesota was 91.7 and his QBR against Rutgers was 97. He completed over 70% of his passes with 4 TD's and 0 INT's combined. That's pretty impressive.

And I'm not, and neither are oddsmakers. There is a reason he wasn't included in the discussion early on, because of that awful game. At the end of September he wasn't even in the top 10 in terms of odds.
