2025 Recruiting Thread

It's starting to look like there is a real chance we could flip Malik Autry from Auburn, that would be massive.
Please let this happen. Their fanbase will melt harder than they already were. I hope JuJu Lewis stick to USC or flips to Colorado…that would break the Barners also

4 star WR Jeff Exinor Jr out of Maryland has committed to Penn State.

4 star QB Malik Washington out of Maryland has committed to Maryland.

Davison was a straight NIL deal...

We got stuffed in a locker today.. Sharma commits to Oregon after telling UT he was in last night.. Wynn follows up by committing to FSU later today..

Sharma is really good too..

Hopefully, UT can get on him later and flip him.. we need good DTs this class in a bad way. #HookEm
Yeah that's rough. texas has been slow on the recruiting trail this year. Texas currently ranked #18 with 12 recruits.. In contrast OU currently ranked #5 with 18 recruits.

Oregon is unloading the NIL bag big time. By all accounts this kid was 100% committing to Ohio State

Oregons staff works in silence. Not the first or the last surprise commitment.

I think this was also a space issue. He was option #3 at CB in our class, so this isn't that surprising. Long way to go before NSD but I think he sticks, because Sanchez and Offord seem to be locked in to OSU.

While I agree that would be tough, his mom was firmly in the tosu corner.. but she gave her blessing immediately following the Oregon visit.. I mean LSU got a visit but that was just out of respect for his dad's school.

Our key $9.95er came out and said look.. these recruitments aren't like most in the past where you continue to recruit and hang around the rim.. said only flips he can see is IF Lanning takes the UF job.. other than that what Oregon provided in NIL to these players.. they are locked

This is the first time ive been genuinely shocked at a recruits decisions in quite awhile. It's a whole new ball game all around now though indeed, really nothing is final ever even after they sign their LOI, with the transfer portal and all now.

Yeah I see Brew sticking there. He'd hardly be the first player with OSU ties to go elsewhere, and with the CB haul we got in 23/24, he'd be buried until his junior year most likely. I wish the kid the best of luck.

Yea I mean it woulda of course been nice to have him as well, but im not really worried about CB.

Next year we are in on some big players too, Elbert Hill the #1 CB currently in the 2026 composite is a Akron Kid who we will more than likely get.

Yep, OG Tim has been killing it on the DB trail. He's not done for this cycle either. I would also not be shocked if Oregon gets McNutt, but I know we're both after Jonah Williams. Either way, we're in great shape.

Jonah isn't going to tosu.. he's going to go to aggy... galveston kids will always galveston :(

EDIT: and it's probably for the best,he's a special baseball player.. at the end of the day, I think he will stick to baseball over football..
