Monday patriots day thread

Wow, not sure I've ever seen a wooden one.
The smaller ones are usually metal, but wood is a pretty popular building material around here. I remember my cousins had one, my brother-in-law had one when his kids were smaller, the neighbors behind us have one currently.

Isn't your fiancee that sugarlips chick? Cause she seems pretty unstable. Good luck in that marriage.

I like the looks of it...has character.

Ours were always just squeaky metal poles ones...even when I was kid.

If we fenced, we'd have to deal with a curved section of the yard between the end of the deck and the garage. Garage is sited in a dumb place, it's like 15 feet away from the back of the property, and faces the neighbors' yard, so there's a small open space behind it that you obviously can't see from the house. The front wouldn't be too bad, just need gates for the front walk and the driveway entrance. Also, part of my hesitation for putting up my own fence is I'm pretty sure the neighbors on the other side of the garage built their fence a few feet behind the real property line, and I don't want to give back the extra land. Not that it's a ton of space, but in a small yard, every bit counts.
my neighbors have their fence inside the property line, I just connected mine to theirs, but I asked. I have about an extra foot of property along my garden. I think my shed is technically too close to the property line, but it was permitted and drawn on map, so whatever, not going to worry about it

The other side of my fence is about foot behind line, my neighbor thinks I should move it "out" as she feels she's stealing some of my yard. I know roughly where the line is, but went on safe side instead of getting a survey to be 100% sure.

Yeah, we have a little metal one here, only has swings and a slide.

Ham is a little sad that the glider on the old set won't be there on the new one.

Just take it off and hang it there, you can put whatever you want on there.

I gave a swingset just like that one to my son a few years ago to get it out of my yard.

We had a metal/plastic one with a glider, kids liked that. We also added a plastic bucket swing that we tied to the "T" of the clothesline pole when my daughter was a little shit.

The one we're replacing looks kind of like this:

I'll have to get a bracket that can go on a wood beam, and a new glider that fits the bracket.

We come get up to an inch of snow Wednesday...in late April. Damnit
