i agree with you. most of all, because none of it is funny. yet, he found his place, i don't know if it was via full house or AFH, but they said, you're the guy. Watch the green room with him, patrice, roseanne, and sandra. patrice put him in his place, just saying, say something funny based off of what they just said.

always loved burr, community, O&A etc, so it was easy to remember that I saw it. Don't listen to Jim and Sam, because, why would you? Sam is so bad and Jim is best working off of other people it is what it is.

nor should you have, that's how bad this list is, b. shawb is at least on here, they both suck. there's funny people out there, i still don't get what this list was about. i've never seen a bill murry set, think he's all improv, i don't know. I know they did the whole Murray stories doc for some dumb cat. They come off as acknowledging Bill is a cool drunk (at least for the memories they put in there). So, they put in dude came into their apartment and cleaned the dishes, wow, what a night. Cut to the real world, I get drunk at 21 while bowling one afternoon at the local alley. Cat at the counter leaves to do something, I figure, yeah, I can hand out some shoes, boom, they call the cops on me and it's not a fun story anymore, fuck that.

He's just loud. It's performance with little to nothing else. It worked for the time period because he was "different" from other comics at the time (Seinfeld, Romano, etc are examples of the types you see in this era) but the act doesn't stand up much at all by itself or out of its era.

i don't think that's what this is about though, or at least not for me, it's comedians. I don't know if she did standup, i imagine she might have. but that's separate from her movie roles. I still don't get how people don't like gaffigan, dude may have fell off over the years (I don't know, but you can't say he wasn't/isn't funny) .

the list was made to mostly rally against the liberal monsters that are out there without actually looking up who IS an actual stand up comedian/comedienne. It's a bad list for an agenda that has already been called out.

I'm not going to put Kinison on a list of "least funny" because I did laugh at a lot of his early material, but you're absolutely right that it was much more performance and persona than comedy after he achieved "party to death rockstar" status. I recently watched a couple of his later specials he made shortly before he died and it was cringe-inducing.

I made a post saying Chapelle and Louis CK, etc should be included because there are likely people out there who just don't like them as comedians.
