Puts on a hell of a show too. If Jason Isbell wasn’t also on point and if I weren’t in the presence of Willie Nelson, I’d say Billy Strings stole the show back in September(Charley Crockett and Larkin Poe were good too, but things really picked up when Billy took the stage)

A friend saw him on a beach near Destin, Florida. Said he was the tiniest little man he'd ever seen in his life. Like he stepped out of the Wizard of Oz or some shit.
My first concert was Kenny Chesney when I was around 5. Right after “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” came out at a concert venue that is now part of a cow pasture that my grandma had season tickets to(cool little venue, saw and met a bunch of washed up Country singers there including George Jones several times). Trace Adkins played that night too. They were soon to be headlining big venues, probably one of their last small time shows.
