If the Bugeater coach was so good, he'd have left a better legacy. Nebraska's program is a sustained shitshow without an end in sight.

Haha fuck ou. This is yalls God in this debate and the first time everyone says yeah someone else was better you tuck your dicks in.

Switzer was great because he cheated like a motherfucker. That's his legacy-he didn't think the rules applied to him and it worked until it didn't. Osborne was sorta the same way but he was smart about it and ended his career with arguably the most dominant teams ever.

No a question who is better here. Switzer won more battles but Osborn won the war.

Maybe, but fuck Nebraska.

Maybe you should tell us why Oklahoma State went 0-10-1 in 1991.

We'll wait.

Switzer

Better winning %
Owns the Head to head
More conference titles

Osborne didn't win a national title till Switzer was gone and OU went to shit.

No one is wrong voting for Osbourne. Great coach great program. I voted for the Bootleggers Boy because he was also a great coach and fucking entertaining as hell

Whelp.....looks like Tom's gonna swamp Barry Switzer in this one. Probably has as much to do with hating OU as anything else because if that isn't the reason then I don't want to ever read another !@#$%^& post on here about how one team is better than another team because they beat them heads up. Winning games against other teams apparently isn't as important as the losing team's "entire body of work". :laugh3:

When it comes to a whole career? Of course it does. If we were talking about a single season you'd have a point but we are talking about a college coaches entire career and Osborne's is simply more impressive despite the H2H.

By your logic, if you were asked who was been more impressive since 2000 Florida or Ohio State, you would say Florida bc of H2H

Or the Kansas State Coach>>>Lincoln Riley

I could buy that if the KSU coach his name is Chris Klieman btw was beating Riley and winning Big 12 titles but he isn't. Switzer was beating Osborne and everyone else and winning titles.

H2H is the end all be all, don’t back track now when it doesn’t fit your retarded homerism
